a letter to my son
my dearest son,
where did time go? it just seems like it was yesterday that i was feeding you a bottle, wiping your pooppie diaper and handing you “your blankie and your pappy”. you never needed to be pacified though, you were always an easy and happy baby.
i look at you now and you’re living on your own, going to school, dating the love of your life… sorry, i used the word dating, i know you don’t believe in that
anyway, you’re making the most of your life and i’m so proud of you. you bring joy to my heart and i miss you.
19 years ago you were born and my world has never been the same… it has become better.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL!!!
and keep dreaming.

It is something how the years just seem to fly by. Our youngest son turns 24 on Tuesday the 5th and my daughter would have been 23 this year; and my oldest will be 27 in October. So.., I hear ya. I pray every day that their legacy will be one of Love and positive change. Thanks for sharing!
p.s. We are not getting old - we have tons of villages to build before we leave this place called “earth”; and that will keep us forever young!

Richie

Good work, Mom and Dad!
How can we have such “old” kids when we’re still so young?
