i loooooove boston
some of you know that i have been infatuated with the city of boston for a while now, two years to be precise. i had never been there until this past week. i drove with lucas from orlando to providence to meet alex, then we drove to boston.
i felt like i was going on a blind date
. as we approached the city i had butterflies in my stomach, felt anxious and happy at the same time. the only thing i didn’t do was touch up my make-up… lol.
well, i was not disappointed. boston is everything i imagined and more. big thanx to our friends jon and mary for letting us stay in their beautiful apt. in downtown boston, and thanx mary for all the time you spent showing me around.
we stayed on the 33rd floor of the tall building on the left
view from the apt - nice crib guys!
i think this is one of the scenes of the show Boston Legal
Quincy Market - cute historical place where we ate good new england clam chowder
lucas enjoying the breeze at St. Charles River
the holocaust memorial - shocking and sad
alex reading the graves of people from the 1800s
the cheers bar… yeah, the one from the show
tons of musicians in boston… yeah! i love it
and lovers at the park
waiting in line at a great seafood restaurant… there was always a line… delicious! rachel ray did a show there.
HARVARD… future school of my kids… hmhm
on the way back to orlando we stop at a cute little town called mystic and look what i saw -
how about that?
keep dreaming!

If you guys go to Boston, then we’ll have to join you. Orlando, no. Boston, yes.
BTW, did you know that there’s a famous pizza joint in Mystic that they even named a Julia Roberts movie after. Mystic Pizza.

Niza,
So glad you enjoyed Boston - I knew you would. And as for Dean’s comment, if you come to Boston, Providence, whatever, we’d be glad to have all of you up here. New England needs Makers of Fire (and more Red Sox fans)!
Now, if I could just get some other New England voxers to begin the chant….BOSTON, BOSTON, BOSTON, BOSTON, BOSTON…..
October 10th, 2006 at 4:53 am
Niza - My wife and I attended college just outside Boston (Wenham) and we loved the city (and the state) too!! In fact, I was at the Cheers bar on my 21st birthday . . . we had a blast, and always said what a great place it would be to live!
October 10th, 2006 at 5:00 am

October 10th, 2006 at 7:47 am

October 10th, 2006 at 11:22 am
allen - florida is great but boston… hmmhmmhmmmmm
dean - we saw the place but by the time i realized what it was we had passed it and alex didn’t want to go back for a pic… we’ll just have to go back there again
keith - lol… i hear the chant, it won’t go away, day and night it torments me
mark - how could you move away? how? why?
aaaaanne - luv ya too sistah
deana - we were kinda in a hurry to drive back to orlando cuz alex had to speak on sunday eve, which we drove into town and to the church, so i didn’t buy anything there… bummer! hey, you might have a free place to stay at when you go to boston
sam - we’re on it!

Hello niza!! and give my hello’s to Alex, and Lucas…So hopefully I’m doing this right. I miss you all so much! I had to get a new vox because I forgot my password on my other vox account. I’m as big as a house should have the baby most likely around December 20, I’ll be induced if everything goes right, his name is “Taylan Rene James Faulkner.” I’ve been home schooling Cannon since Oct. 16, It’s been hectic but good if you can put those to words in a sentence together. Would like to talk to you all more, just not sure if this is the write place to do it, I mean this is one heck of a comment. Love You, Linda

oh niza, boston is the greatest place in the history of greatest places!! I’ve been there twice and have fell in love deeper the second time around. we’re going to spend 4 days of our honeymoon there. Jenny and I loved sitting on the brick wall that seperates earth from ocean and just enjoying the smells, the breeze, and the lost jellyfish. thanks for writing!!
