FINAL MOVING UPDATE
yes, it’s me, i’m still alive. it’s been a long time since i’ve blogged but a whole lot is going on in our life right now and it’s a bit crazy, so i haven’t felt very inspired to write.
for those of you who might not know yet, we have moved from my beloved california to florida. i’m waiting for my adaptability strength to kick in, but i think it’s on vacation or decided to stay back in cali
anyway, i’d love to meet all of you voxers, or other bloggers, who live here in FL. leave me a comment, eh? let’s make it happen.
keep dreaming!

Niza, I remember what you said about your absences from posting when we met briefly at Origins. Praying for a Florida rythm to flow, integration and and a network of lifelines. I will be in West Palm with a couple of great girls in a couple of weeks, email if you’re close, we’ll hook up for lunch and sun

welcome to O-town!
I know you and alex will enjoy. I half believed that mark; keith; and myself were going to be moving you in over last weekend.
I promise, it doesn’t take long to acclimate to this area. O-town has all that LA has with half the hassle of getting there.
when you’re settled in alittle, we’ll all hit the vox cafe’ together (House Blends). looking forward to meeting you.

We miss you, Niza!

But there are lots of fine Floridians out there too, and some of them will appreciate you as much as we do.
Grace and strength to you, Adapta-lady!

Meanwhile your California friend is going, “you are gone? you left when? you arrived when? we had goodbye coffee when?”
September 10th, 2006 at 6:05 pm
Niza,
Welcome to the East coast - give it a chance, I think you’ll like it. Plus you’re closer to Boston now, just about a 2 hour plane ride or so. Maybe you can come up with Alex for the Providence stop on the Makers of Fire tour.
September 11th, 2006 at 4:04 pm
It does take some time to acclimate to southern climate. I don’t think I’ve fully gotten used to all the humidity yet….
Once you get settled in I wanna come down and see ya’ll! So find a house quick! And get ready for a Tennessee house guest.
Love you woman! Miss you sooooooo much.
September 11th, 2006 at 5:35 pm

September 11th, 2006 at 8:23 pm
Oh Phoooey!!! I logged on to see if you’d done an update on your new location. How can this be?? I hope this was a wonderful move for your family.
I’m going to be in LA in mid November and was hoping for suggestions of activities to see the glorious city you love. Sounds like I won’t run into you at Mosaic. If you have any suggestions for must-see places or must-do activities I’d love to hear them.
God Bless this new adventure!

Hi Niza … we haven’t talked in a week. I miss you. give Dean a BIG hug from me. Call me! I love you
September 17th, 2006 at 6:21 am
Thanks for the update. I’m trying to move as well right now, though it’s down the street and not across the country. Best wishes with the “unpacking blues.” I hope you settle in well and can’t wait to see what God does with the plant and with House Blends. What a life you lead! What an adventure you’re on! I know God has given you all the right strengths to take on each adventure as it comes.
I’d like to come visit at some point to see House Blend; I’ve thought about opening a coffee shop one day.
Anyways, I’ll praying for you to feel settled and happy soon. God bless your new home!

Hi Niza … I posted this comment under my “Missing Dean and My New Fitness Goals” post. But, I don’t think you were subscribed so I will repost it here….
———————
Hi my beautiful Niza. How are you? Well, our guys are off again to make fire!!! So what are you doing without Alex? I miss Dean and he hasn’t been able to call much this trip. I guess they are super busy =(
So, what have you been up to? find a place yet?
New York was fabulous. I am going to write a new blog this morning and post some pics from the trip.
I miss you so much. The house isn’t the same without my sweet friends around.
I still have the fish although the frog died and so did one other fish. The rest are doing good. I replaced the light and bought new food so I will keep them as long as I can. They will probably eventually end up with Jason and Chrissy’s friend, Matt. He has lots of fish and will be glad to take them off my hands. When that happens I will be sure to get the tank to Ev.
Call me. I love you!
