it’s only a game…
then why do i feel like dying? actually, i feel like my best friend just died. brazil is out of the world cup and now my summer just got worse… lol.
———- (days go by) ———-
ok, i wrote that right after the game. i’m over it now… life goes on.
sorry sam for your loss also. i felt your pain. i was looking forward to a brazil vs england match
people say that soccer is a religion in brazil. huh… maybe, at least during the world cup for me… haha.
i’ll be rooting for italy now since tina is part italian. congrats on your win.
nothing much to say right now. we’re still trying to figure out life and it keeps going whether we’re ready or not. in all truth, the future of this clan looks bright, i see the light at the end of the tunnel… it’s a long tunnel but the light is very bright
keep dreaming!

ahhh Niza thanks for the Italy root. They won! I didn’t see the game but from the final stats I’d say it must have been quite a game!!
On a side note ….
I have to say I was a bit in a funk after you all left on Monday. I sure loved having you around.
How was your 4th?

Glad to hear there’s light at the end of the tunnell…keep us updated.

Well I caught the game…. it was one of the best so far in my opinion! Very agressive and fast the entire match.
I was pulling for England (as the US never woke up and realised they were suppose to play football…) but what can ya do I suppose all keepers can have a bad day.

sam - we’ll keep you updated.
brain - that’s how i felt about brazil. they just didn’t seem to be there. it’s like they had a big meal just before the game and then were slugish the whole time… oh well, it’s over. now gotta wait 4 more years.

I was in Brazil when it came down to the final wire for them. When Brazil lost it was like the whole country experienced a death. Wear a little black, and then go get a pedicure, you’ll feel better!

Really glad about the light you can see… Sorry about the football. Our nation has gone very quiet and sad. Apparently ‘we’ don’t like Italy or France as a nation so it’s all a bit of a downer…. oh well, we have the European Championships in 2008 to look forward to!
July 8th, 2006 at 10:05 pm
well…glad i inspired you to go and have some leftovers. it must be nice…

Sorry about Brazil… Bobby and I caught the end of the france/portugal game while we were at the brewery, bummer that france took it- yes indeed– woot, woot, Italy!

I had a very strange experience the other Saturday night, I was in a chip shop in Greenock (Scotland) and despite their reputation for emotional inhibition I recieved several big hugs from other Scottish men, the reason for this, England was put out of the World Cup!
Allan was devastated by Brazi’s exit, he had bought three Brazil soccer tops to support his favourite team, he had a number 9 for Ronaldo and 10 for Ronaldinho, or was that the other way round?
