Pride
ok, so we didn’t need to win the game against japan because we were already through to the next round, but when japan scored the first goal, and in the first 10 min of the game, i freaked. now that things are back to order and the world makes sense again, i think i’ll go out and get a milkshake
Lord forgive my pride.
congratulations to russ (and australia :)), we’ll be seeing you in the next round also.

It was a good win…congrats!
(And what does it matter if Ronaldo is 3 stone over weight if he’s scoring goals, right?!)

I bet you enjoyed the last half of that game. I thought it was nice of Brazil to not try to score, even though they still did.

Thanks Niza,
I appreciate the kudos, as it was actually me who single handdly cheered on Australia…I’m loving this world cup stuff, especially now that Australia is winning!
Definitely hoping for a Brazil/Australia rematch (After we thump England)!

Brazil has a football team?? Doh! I just didn’t realize that? Of course I’d be rooting for Ireland - but alas they appparently do not have a football team either! (haha!)
Congrats Niza! Is your man’s email account working yet? I have not been able to reach him?
In His Love,
Rich

Thanks Niza…Yes, I am still running. It has been a strange journey. A friend of mine asked me to run a 1/2 marathon with her and it sounded fun so I agreed; however, I have never run any distance–other than in H.S. sports like football, tennis and baseball. Those were short sprints of energy–nothing like distance running. So far I have run in the 1/2 marathon in Indy, a local 5k and I am training for a 1/2 marathon in Chicago. There is a chance that we might run a full marathon in Disney in January.
